Stockport Model Engineers

Based in Stockport in the North West of England, our society (founded 1946) caters for enthusiasts who pursue a wide range of interests including designing, building & running steam and solar electric locos as well as traction engines and horology.

Some of our members come from varied engineering backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience, whilst others are just new to engineering. New members are made most welcome, whatever their background.
